Local show a success for the UAMCC here in Atlanta

The UAMCC event that Soap Warehouse helped sponsor was greatly received and a real success.

We had expected to have just under 30 attendees but with last minute additions we had 34 even with a few no shows and we did have a couple that could not stay with us the entire day.

We started the day up the road with a informal breakfast meet an greet at The Panra Bread.

Everyone I spoke to said they came because of the promised line up of topics and that we did not disappoint. Here is what we covered:

What type of business to chose for tax purposes – CPA Diana Crawford

Customer Retention – Mike Thomas of Mike’s Pressure Washing & Gutter Service

Social Media – Kimberlly Handl of North American Pressure Wash Outlet

Chemical Safety – Linda Chambers of Soap Warehouse

How to set up training for OSHA – Linda Chambers of Soap Warehouse

Troubleshooting and rebuilding pumps – Tracy Handle of North American Pressure Wash Outlet

Cold Calling – Arrie Parker of Iron Man Power Washers

Lunch was catered by Olde Towne Tavern our venue host and it was a very filling and tasty meal of salad, rolls, mixed steamed vegetables and lasagna with drink and deserts.

We had some lively conversation of table topics with each speaker taking a table to expand on their topic choice during lunch.

The day went by very fast wth speakers trying to cram everyithing in as fast as we could and answer questions as well.

We did manage to also fill in three sessions of prize drawings of items that had been donated but the sponsors and other UAMCC affiliates which were happily accepted by the winners.

If you signed up but missed it or can make time in Sept, the next chance will be in Myrtle Beach, South Carolina, Sept 12, 2014. Go here to sign up go to: http://www.uamcc.org/education/events-for-contract-cleaners
